Lauren Potts

Lauren Potts has been working in the compliance field for over two years, currently serving as a business analyst at Shield Compliance. Prior to their current role, Lauren worked as a management analyst for the Washington State Department of Revenue from July 2019 to September 2021. Before their time with the state government, Lauren was a cannabis examiner for the Liquor and Cannabis Board of the State of Washington from June 2016 to July 2019.

Lauren began their career in quality assurance, working as a QA analyst for the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education from October 2013 to June 2016. Lauren then transitioned into research, serving as a research analyst for the Alaska Bureau of Vital Statistics from November 2007 to October 2013. Lauren's first professional role was as a zookeeper at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo from July 2004 to August 2007.

Lauren Potts has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from State University of New York College at Oswego.
