Shelley O'Brien

Shelley O'Brien has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Shelley started their career at Hedges Chandler in 2004 as an Accountant/Auditor and continued in that role until 2011. Shelley then worked at RDP Newmans LLP as an Accountant from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, Shelley worked at The Croll Group as a Management Accountant. In 2018, they joined IQ-EQ (formerly Augentius) as a Private Equity Accountant. Currently, Shelley is employed at Shields, where they started as the EMEA Finance Controller in 2019 and recently transitioned to the role of EMEA Finance Director in June 2021.

Shelley O'Brien's education history includes completing their ACCA degree from Kaplan Financial from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended BPP from 2004 to 2006, where they earned their AAT degree. In 2002 and 2003, Shelley attended Anglia Polytechnic University in Cambridge, where they completed a foundation year in Maths and Sciences. Shelley completed their high school education at St. Bernard's High School for Girls from 1994 to 2001, where they studied subjects such as Art, English Literature, History, and Psychology.
