Peter Ferrari

Peter Ferrari heads the entire Shields Health Care Group, overseeing the financial structuring, marketing and operations of the company’s network of 35+ imaging, ambulatory surgery and radiation oncology centers throughout the Northeast.

Previously, he spent 10 years as Chief Strategy Officer at Shields where he spearheaded the company’s growth and diversification, identifying strategic market opportunities and developing joint-ventures with more than 25 healthcare partners. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Operations, where he was instrumental in implementing new technology and service delivery programs that have enhanced the customer experience for Shields’ patients and referring community. Peter joined Shields in 2005. Earlier in his career, he served in leadership positions at other companies including Winchester Hospital and Meditech.

In 2013 Peter received the Shields Founder’s Award, in recognition for his strategic management and visionary leadership. He is a member of HFMA, ACHE, HIMSS. Ferrari holds a bachelor of science degree from UMass Amherst.
