Bill McElnea obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Oberlin College from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy at the University of Michigan, Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, which they completed from 2004 to 2006.
