Derek Costa

Derek Costa has a strong background in IT infrastructure and leadership roles. Derek most recently served as the Vice President of IT Infrastructure & CISO at Shields Health Solutions. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director of IT Infrastructure at the same company. Before joining Shields Health Solutions, Derek was the President and Principal Consultant at their own consulting firm, The Costa Group, LLC. Derek has also held prominent positions at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, including Vice President - Chief Information Officer and Managing Director - Enterprise Project Management Office. Earlier in their career, Derek worked at Citizens Bank in various roles, including SVP - Head of IT Delivery, VP - Sr. Program Manager, and AVP - Unix Team Lead.
