Stephen West

In his role as President, Stephen works closely with the Shields executive team to execute key strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring that the highest level of integrated care is delivered consistently across all partners. A critical focus of his role is identifying and executing innovative growth initiatives that expand the company into new service lines, hospitals, disease states, and therapies.

Before joining Shields, Stephen was an investor on the healthcare team at LLR Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in growth-stage companies.

Stephen holds a B.S. in Commerce with Distinction from the University of Virginia, with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Global Commerce.
