Winni Chen

Winni Chen has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Winni started their career in 2012 as an Office Assistant at MCPHS University's School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics. Winni then joined CVS Health as a Pharmacy Technician in 2013 and worked there until 2019. In 2018, Winni joined Shields Health Solutions as a Pharmacy Technician in the Patient Support Center. Winni later transitioned to the role of a Revenue Cycle Management Claims Specialist in 2019 and eventually became the Lead Medical Biller in 2020.

Winni Chen completed their education at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. From 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Healthcare Management. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2018, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same institution. Before attending college, Winni Chen completed their high school education at Tottenville High School from 2008 to 2012 through the Classics Institute Honors Program.

In addition to their academic degrees, Winni Chen has obtained various certifications. Winni became a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) in June 2018 and obtained the Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician certification in August 2017, also from PTCB. Winni has also completed multiple certifications through online platforms. Winni earned certifications in Business Strategy, Management Accelerator, Problem Solving, and Adaptability & Resilience from McKinsey & Company between 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, they completed several certifications on topics like Communicating Across Cultures, Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All, Skills for Inclusive Conversations, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in March 2021.
