Mervat Aboulmaaty Nabih has a strong background in cardiology, with extensive experience in leading departments and conducting research. Mervat is currently serving as the Chief of the Cardiology Department at Shifa Hospital since 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief of Electrophysiology at Ain Shams University starting in 2015. Mervat also worked as a Professor at Ain Shams University, starting in 2002. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief of Electrophysiology at Dar Al Fouad Hospital, starting in 1999.
Mervat Aboulmaaty Nabih completed their High School Diploma from Zamalek Experimental School for girls from 1970 to 1976. Following this, they attended Ain Shams University from 1976 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree specializing in Medicine.
