Salwa Ahsan

Salwa Ahsan is an accomplished pharmacy professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief of Pharmacy at Shifa International Hospitals Limited and eShifa HomeCare Services, Salwa has been instrumental in advancing home healthcare services. In addition to these roles, Salwa is the Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Society of Health-System Pharmacist and serves on the Editorial Board for Currents in Pharmaceutical Research at the University of Management and Technology. Membership in the Technical Working Group on National Medicine Policy under the Ministry of National Health Services highlights Salwa's dedication to improving healthcare policies in Pakistan. Salwa’s academic involvement includes being a member of the Board of Studies at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University and a visiting faculty member at the PIQC Institute of Quality. Previous experience includes managerial roles at Aga Khan University Hospital, with foundational education including a Pharm.D and MBA focused on Health-Hospital Management.
