Daniel Hildebrand

Daniel Hildebrand has over 17 years of experience in research and development engineering in the medical device industry. Daniel was the Director of Research and Development at Shifamed since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at PowerVision, Inc. for 9 years, where they were a Principal Engineer, leading the development of an accommodating intraocular lens. Daniel also worked at Nfocus Neuromedical as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, leading the development of a neurovascular embolization stent. Additionally, they worked at Sadra Medical as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a transcatheter aortic heart valve.

Daniel Hildebrand has a MSE and BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
