Vraj Derodra

Vraj Derodra currently serves as the Senior EHS Manager at Shifamed, leading environmental health and safety strategies for eight medical device startups across cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and digital health sectors since January 2024. In addition, Vraj has been involved with the AIHA Northern California Section since April 2017 as the Webmaster for the Developing World Outreach Initiative. Previous roles include Senior EHS Manager at RefleXion Medical and various EHS management positions at AbbVie, ZELTIQ, BSI, and EORM, showcasing extensive experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and safety culture. Vraj holds a Master of Science in Environmental Toxicology from the University of South Alabama and an undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry concentration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
