Rustam Nabi has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Rustam served as the Director for the Shifo Foundation since June 2013, where they focused on providing health solutions for children and promoting their well-being. Rustam became an Ashoka Fellow in October 2016, further establishing their expertise in social entrepreneurship and innovation. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Unit for Biotechnology in Low Resource Settings at Karolinska Institutet from January 2012 to December 2015, where they worked towards advancing biotechnology in underprivileged areas. Rustam also served as a Project Leader at Karolinska University Hospital from January 2005 to December 2013, overseeing various projects. Rustam Nabi began their career as a Researcher at KTH, where they worked on research projects from January 2000 to December 2005.
Rustam Nabi holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Internetworking from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Balanced Scorecard and Key Performance Indicators, Business-to-Business Sales, Leading with Innovation, and Sales Management Foundations from LinkedIn. Rustam is also a Certified IT Architect from Dataföreningen Kompetens.

We replace inefficient, fragmented and expensive health information systems in lower-income countries with simple and cost effective solutions, making available the highest quality of data everywhere, in a patient-level and regardless infrastructure limitations. As a result, our sustainable and cost-saving solutions automatically identify KPIs and under performances along the health service delivery, making visible gaps and opportunities in a systematic manner, in which public health decision-makers of all levels can immediately implement improvements and seek the root causes of inefficiencies. Also, we are the only organisation able to scale the collection and use of health data at a national level, establishing a culture of data to solve healthcare's greatest challenges.
