Madara Karunarathna has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Madara started their career as a Part-Time Instructor at the University of Peradeniya in 2008. Madara then worked as a Part-Time Instructor in 2008 and later as an Instructor and Temporary Lecturer at the University of Peradeniya, Faculty of Engineering from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, they joined the Queensland University of Technology as a PhD Research Scholar, focusing on developing strategies to identify common special-purpose operations across multiple algorithms.
