Roland Stadler

Roland Stadler has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Roland began their career in 2004 as a Senior Consultant at Accenture. In 2008, they moved to Avectris AG as a Senior Application Consultant, where they were the Qlik Lead within the Axpo Group, responsible for designing, running and constantly improving the international QlikView cluster platform with 2000+ daily reload tasks. In 2016, they moved to Helsana Versicherungen AG as a Business Intelligence Consultant. In 2017, they joined PwC Switzerland as a Senior Manager. Since 2019, they have been Co-Founder & Product Lead at Shift Crypto, where they are the Product Lead of the BitBox02, a second-generation hardware wallet that equips individuals to store, protect, and transact bitcoin & other cryptocurrencies. Its companion, the BitBoxApp, provides an all-in-one solution to securely manage digital assets with ease.

Roland Stadler obtained a Master of Science in Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor in Engineering in Communication Systems and Informatics from Zurich University of Applied Sciences between 2001 and 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge in December 2002 and a 21 Lectures: Bitcoin Advanced certification from 21 Lectures AG in November 2018.
