Sanjay Thakur

Sanjay Thakur has a long and varied work experience. Sanjay began their career in 2012 as a Senior Software Developer and Software Engineer at Konrad Group. In 2014, they moved to Achievers where they were a Senior Software Engineer. Sanjay was responsible for architecting mobile applications and designing mobile API for the Achievers Platform. Sanjay also served as a Scrummaster for the mobile team. In 2017, Sanjay joined ClassPass as a Staff Software Engineer and Mobile Engineering Lead. During their time there, they managed a team of three for mobile productivity and efficiency, and created and led adoption of a backend-for-frontend micro-service. In 2016, Sanjay co-founded Verdict MMA, where they held the roles of Co-Founder, CEO, CTO, and Lead Product Designer. Sanjay was responsible for establishing processes, raising a seed fund, and creating a business vision. Sanjay also developed and designed the end-to-end experience from a user's screen on iOS and web.

Sanjay Thakur obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo between 2009 and 2012, with a field of study in Mathematics and Computer Science. Sanjay also holds two certifications: Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects, obtained from Coursera in October 2020, and Machine Learning, obtained from Coursera in December 2016.
