Michelle Ly

Michelle Ly has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michelle started their career as a Regulatory Affairs Intern at Life Science Career Development Society in 2018. Michelle then worked as a Team Lead at 180 Degrees Consulting from October 2017 to May 2019. During this time, they also served as a Medical Writer at Nova-Solutions from August 2017 to September 2018.

In 2019, Michelle took on the role of a Medical Science Liaison Intern at Life Sciences Career Development Society. Michelle also worked as a Freelance Medical Writer at QuillDrive from March to July 2019.

In 2020, Michelle joined University Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant from February to May. Michelle also worked as a Strategic Policy Advisor at KSAR & Associates from November 2020 to April 2022.

Michelle Ly started their education at McMaster University in 2011 and graduated in 2015 with an Hon. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, specializing in Biochemistry and Biomedical Research. Michelle then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at McMaster University from 2015 to 2017, focusing on Biochemistry and Biomedical Research. In 2017, they enrolled at the University of Toronto to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Michelle Ly obtained certifications outside of their academic studies. In March 2017, they completed the MINI-MBA Series from the Graduate Management Consulting Association. Michelle also obtained Standard First-Aid and CPR certification from the Canadian Red Cross in September 2014.
