Jamila Jordan, M.A., currently serves as a Data Analyst at Monterey Bay Aquarium since December 2023 and has been involved in data analysis for Analytics for Advocacy since September 2021. Previously, Jamila held various roles including Product Manager at Shift Media from January to July 2023, and Customer Success in Data at Dexibit from April to December 2022. Additional experience includes Business Systems Analysis at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand, Business Strategy and Operations at King Manor Museum, and Funding Development at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture. Earlier roles include serving as a Literacy Educator with the Peace Corps and as a Program Manager for Public Engagement at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Academically, Jamila earned a Master’s degree in Arts Management with a Data Analytics track from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a B.A. in History from Trinity Washington University, alongside degrees in Anthropology/Archaeology and History from Foothill College and Peking University, respectively, and additional education at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
