David das Neves

David das Neves has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT industry. In 2015, they worked as a Technology Specialist in Consulting Services at Computacenter, where they were involved in various technical areas, including an automation project for IPv6 implementation. 👨🏻‍💻 David then joined Microsoft as a Premier Field Engineer in 2016, specializing in Windows 10, PowerShell, Azure, and Security.

In 2017, David became a Book Author at Packt, showcasing their expertise in a specific area. 👨🏻‍💻 David later joined Google in 2018 as a Cloud Program Manager, providing strategic and technical guidance to enterprise customers transitioning to the Google Cloud Platform. 👨🏻‍💻 David also played a lead role in managing the startup and community ecosystem for the Google Cloud for Startups program.

Moving on, David worked at Munich Re (Group) as an IT Architect in the Global Infrastructure team, responsible for Microsoft ecosystem, automation, and cloud transformation. 👨🏻‍💻 David'srole involved planning projects, architecture design, consulting, automation with DevSecOps principles, and deployment and configuration management.

David also worked as a University Lecturer at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, where they taught a course on Cloud KPI and offered technical challenges to students. 👨🏻‍💻 David then moved to MediaMarktSaturn in 2021 to work as the Head of Computing, Director, overseeing global IT platforms and driving the IT-platform strategy.

In 2022, David joined Pexon Consulting GmbH initially as the Director of Learning and Development, driving internal and external enablement and growth. 👨🏻‍💻 David then took on the role of Head of Delivery Excellence, focusing on process improvement, content, and training.

Most recently, David founded shiftavenue in 2023, where they acts as CEO and Foactr, leading the company on its vision and goals. With their extensive experience and expertise in IT and cloud technology, David has brought valuable insights and contributions to each role they have undertaken throughout their career.

David das Neves began their education in 1992 at a language school, where they obtained a Portuguese Diploma after ten years of study in the field of Portuguese. In 2008, they pursued an apprenticeship in Application Development at HST Systemtechnik GmbH, which they completed in 2011. From 2015 onwards, David became a Platinum Member at the Microsoft Virtual Academy, although the end year of this education is not provided. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2019, How to win people with emotional rhetoric - Public Speaking training by Robert Spengler in May 2017, and 70-398 - Planning for and Managing Devices in the Enterprise from edX in April 2016. 👨🏻‍💻 David also obtained certifications from various Google Cloud Certified programs in 2018 and 2019.
