Vladimir Shkodin

Vladimir Shkodin has extensive work experience in the field of Quality Assurance Automation Engineering.

Vladimir is currently working as a Sr. QA Automation Engineer at ShiftLeft, Inc. since April 2021.

Prior to this, they worked at Slickdeals, LLC from October 2019 to April 2021, where they held the position of Sr. QA Automation Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for automation testing for various applications and integrating visual regression tests into CI/CD pipelines.

From October 2018 to October 2019, Vladimir worked as a Software QA Engineer at TransAct® Technologies. Here, they created an Automation Testing Framework and integrated computer vision tests using the OpenCV library. Vladimir also performed backend performance and load testing.

Before that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Holiday Systems International from February 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they designed and integrated an automation web testing framework and provided automation scripts for large e-commerce applications.

Vladimir's work experience also includes a position as a QA Automation Engineer at CATE from September 2011 to February 2017. Here, they reproduced and debugged issues, contributed to QA documentation, and established an automation testing culture within the company.

Vladimir Shkodin pursued their Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control from 2008 to 2012 at Astrakhan State Technical University (ASTU). Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at ASTU and obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2014.
