The ShiftLeft leadership team has a history in academia and industry, with a focus on computer engineering and security. Members of the team have worked as professors and researchers at universities such as Stellenbosch University, Technische Universität Braunschweig, and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. They also have experience in the industry, having worked as vulnerability researchers and security consultants for companies such as Recurity Labs GmbH.
