Karthik Siva

Karthik Siva has a diverse work experience in the field of collections and legal affairs. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Manager at Citi, where they monitored resale prices, managed repossession vendors, and ensured compliance. Karthik then transitioned to ICICI Bank LTD, where they served as an Area Collection Manager for small ticket personal loans and consumer durables. In 2006, they joined Development Credit Bank Limited as an Associate Vice President, responsible for managing collections for secured and unsecured products across South India. Karthik also oversaw credit verification and managed a team of 35 people. In 2009, they moved to CHOLAMANDALAM INVESTMENT AND FINANCE CO LTD as an Assistant Vice President-Zonal Collection Manager, where they handled the portfolio for commercial vehicles, personal loans, and small ticket personal loans in South India. Karthik streamlined collections and led the two-wheeler collections team. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Daimler AG as the Head of Collections for Daimler Financial Services India, where they established collections processes and monitored collection techniques for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. After that, they joined CHOLAMANDALAM INVESTMENT AND FINANCE COMPANY LIMITED in 2017 for a special project involving shortfall and recoveries. In 2018, they became the Vice President - National Head, Collections & Legal at Shiksha Financial Services India Private Ltd, where they managed the collection and legal team, developed collection processes, and ensured compliance. Karthik also handled all legal affairs of the company and represented them in court cases.

Karthik Siva pursued an MBA (Full Time) from Bharathiar University, specializing in the fields of Marketing and HR, from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Chennai Freshers Jobs, with a focus on Business and Commerce. Before entering higher education, Karthik attended SBOA School in Chennai and Coimbatore from 1982 to 1992, where they studied Accounting and Commerce. In addition to their formal education, they acquired a certification in Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training in September 2014.
