Emma R. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Emma currently works as a People and Culture Manager at Kicks Entertainment since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Human Resources Consultant at shilo.people starting in April 2021. Emma also served as a Senior Talent Partner at funded.club from March 2021 to August 2022. Emma has significant experience in the field of human resources, having worked as a Country HR Lead - ANZ at NetApp from September 2018 to March 2021. Emma was responsible for various HR initiatives, such as strategic HR priorities, organization transformation, employee experience strategy, talent management, and community engagement. Before NetApp, Emma worked at National Australia Bank as a Manager, People from April 2016 to April 2018, where they led projects related to HR system implementation and improving divisional communications and collaboration. Emma also held the position of Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Ericsson from July 2013 to April 2016. Emma has undertaken various HR temporary contracts in the past, including roles as an HR Consultant at Parks Victoria and HR Manager at breadsolutions. Additionally, they worked at Telstra as a Senior HR Business Partner and at Futurestep as a Sourcing Consultant. Emma's early work experience includes a role as an HR Consultant at Bevilles. Overall, Emma has a strong background in HR and has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of the field, including people management, talent acquisition, and HR strategy implementation.

Emma R. has a diverse education history. In 1994, they enrolled at Deakin University and pursued a BA/BComm degree in Economics & Mandarin Chinese. Emma successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. Later, in 2005, Emma returned to Deakin University and completed a Grad Diploma in Human Resource Management, which lasted until 2008.

Moving forward, in 2018, Emma R. attended Swinburne University of Technology, where they pursued a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment. This program concluded in 2021. Additionally, in 2019, they participated in a Human Centred Design Certification program at IDEO.

Emma has also acquired an additional certification, the Genos EI Accreditation, from Genos International in November 2020.
