Kyoko Watanabe

Kyoko Watanabe currently serves as Senior Manager of Product Strategy in R&D California at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments since November 2023. Prior to this role, Watanabe held various positions at SHIMADZU CORPORATION, including Assistant General Manager, Product Manager of HPLC, and LC&LCMS Application Chemist. Watanabe's experience includes analytical method development, with a significant contribution during a tenure as a Visiting Researcher at Université de Genève, focusing on analytical method development and validation for bioanalysis. Watanabe holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Geneva and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Biotechnology from Osaka University.
