Sahil Patel

Sahil Patel is a Senior Engineer at Shimco since June 2023, leading the design and manufacturing of aerospace shims and sheet metal parts with a focus on customer specifications and industry standards, utilizing CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks and CATIA. Previously, Sahil held various positions at L&T Technology Services Limited from November 2010 to January 2023, including Project Lead and Senior Design Engineer, gaining extensive experience in new product development, cost reduction, and value engineering for off-road vehicles and commercial trucks. Sahil began the engineering career as a Diploma Engineering Trainee, acquiring skills in 3D modeling and technical simulation. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Karnataka State Open University, complemented by a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
