Christal Wang

Christal Wang is the co-founder and CEO of Shimmer. Christal was previously a design thinking consultant with The Berkeley Innovation Group, a venture fellow with Berkeley SkyDeck, and a senior consultant with Value for Good GmbH. Christal has also worked as a consultant with Bain & Company and as a chapter founder and co-chair with WildHearts Group.

Christal Wang graduated from Richmond Secondary with an International Baccalaureate. Christal went on to study at Western University – Ivey School of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors Business Administration (HBA) with a specialization in General Business Administration and Management, Economics Specialization. After working for a few years, Christal decided to return to school to obtain their Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California, Berkeley. Christal then completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Christal has also obtained certification from the California Institute of the Arts in UI / UX Design Specialization and Kauffman Fellows in Venture Deals.
