Mitch O'Dell

Mitch O'Dell is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in the construction and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Shimmick Construction since November 2020, Mitch plays a pivotal role in preparing and organizing IT needs during the divestiture of AECOM's Civil Construction and Mining Division, leading the establishment of the IT organization for the new company. Prior to this, Mitch was the Director of IT at RK, where efforts focused on reorganizing the IT department and defining strategic initiatives. With earlier roles including ITS Manager of Applications at GE Johnson Construction Company and Director of IT at Catamount Constructors, Mitch has consistently demonstrated leadership in driving technology strategy and implementing key initiatives. Mitch's career began in the United States Air Force, leading to a solid educational background, including a Master's Degree in Emergency Management from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.
