Jan van Wijk

Jan van Wijk is an experienced manager with a focus on engineering, project management, and maintenance within the chemical and petrochemical industries. Currently serving as Manager Projects and Engineering & Integrity Manager at Shin-Etsu PVC B.V. since June 2009, Jan is responsible for project engineering, inspection of static equipment, and process automation across production locations. Prior to this, Jan spent eight years at LyondellBasell in various roles, including Maintenance Superintendent for electrical and instrumentation systems, Construction Superintendent during the 2006 Turnaround project, and overseeing the successful handover of significant projects. Jan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, completed in 1984.
