Mo Koyfman

Mo Koyfman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mo is currently the Founder and General Partner at Shine Capital since September 2020. Additionally, they serve on the Board of Directors at Vimeo, starting in May 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Mo Koyfman was the Managing Member of MOKO BRANDS from January 2017 to September 2020. Mo also served as an Advisor at Resy from November 2018 to September 2019 and Flight Club from June 2017 to January 2018.

Mo Koyfman's earlier experiences include working as a General Partner at Spark Capital from September 2008 to May 2016. At Spark Capital, they worked with various entrepreneurs and companies such as Plaid, Warby Parker, and Work Market.

Before joining Spark Capital, Mo Koyfman was the Chief Operating Officer of Connected Ventures (Vimeo/CollegeHumor/BustedTees) from August 2007 to March 2008. Mo had previously held several positions at IAC, including Vice President of Programming and Vice President of M&A, overseeing companies like Vimeo, CollegeHumor, and BustedTees.

Mo Koyfman began their career as an Investment Banker at Bear Stearns from July 2000 to February 2002. Mo had also worked as a Summer Analyst at Bear Stearns in 1999.

Throughout their career, Mo Koyfman has gained extensive experience in entrepreneurship, venture capital, finance, and business development.

Mo Koyfman began their education at The Frisch School, where they completed high school from 1991 to 1995. Mo then attended BMT Seminary from 1995 to 1996, studying Philosophy and Religious Studies. In 1996, they enrolled in The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Concurrently, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2000. Additionally, in 1999, Mo Koyfman briefly studied English Literature & Theatre at King's College London.
