Neil Otway has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Neil is currently working at Shine Lawyers as the Lead Application Developer since September 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers as the Solution Delivery Lead from January 2016.
Before that, Neil worked at Slater and Gordon Lawyers from January 2012 to November 2015. During their time there, they held the roles of Online Services Manager and .Net Developer, managing a team of developers responsible for consumer-facing and line of business web applications.
In 2009, Neil joined Brisbane Marketing as the Lead Internal Systems Developer until December 2011. Neil also has experience as the Director at Rivercity Solutions from June 2002 to March 2008.
Earlier in their career, Neil worked as a Presales Engineer at Western Computer from June 1999 to April 2002. Neil also had a significant tenure at BAE Systems (formerly GEC Marconi - United Arab Emirates) from 1988 to 1999, where they worked as a Systems Engineer, contributing to contract bids, project development, and computer simulations.
Overall, Neil Otway has extensive experience in various roles related to application development, solution delivery, team management, and systems engineering.
Neil Otway attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a BSc degree in Mathematics.
