Casey Lamers

Casey Lamers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering, controls engineering, and coaching. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at SHINE Technologies since February 2022, Casey has also held the position of Senior Controls Engineer at Phoenix, LLC since August 2011, focusing on designing machine interface and automation for a particle accelerator. Additionally, Casey has been the Head Coach of the UW Cycling Club since September 2014, developing training programs and leading classes. As a co-owner of Speed Cycling, LLC, coaching cyclists and multisport athletes has been a key role since 2010. Previous positions include Scientist-Biomedical Engineering at BellBrook Labs, Associate Scientist at the UW-Madison Biotech Center, and Cycling Instructor at Supreme Health & Fitness. Casey holds Bachelor's degrees in Molecular Biology and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
