Don Zybak

Zybak joined SHINE in 2021 as the chief accounting officer, bringing with him more than 17 years of accounting and finance experience primarily in the power and utility industry. Most recently Zybak was the vice president and corporate controller at GridLiance, a Blackstone-backed electric transmission start-up, successfully leading the organization through its sale to NextEra Energy. Zybak started his career in Deloitte’s audit practice and transitioned into consulting at the Siegfried Group before spending nine years in progressive finance and accounting roles at Exelon Corporation, a Fortune 100 energy business that operates America’s largest fleet of nuclear power generation plants. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Purdue University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
