Catherine Kolb

Catherine Kolb has a diverse work experience in the field of plant operations and nuclear engineering. Catherine started their career at Exelon Nuclear in 2006 as a System Manager, where they focused on trending parameters, performing walkdowns, and developing long-term plans for plant systems. Catherine then advanced to the role of Senior Reactor Operator, taking on responsibilities for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues. In 2014, they joined SHINE Technologies and held various positions, such as Process Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Project Integration Manager. Currently, Catherine serves as the Senior Director of Plant Operations at SHINE Technologies.

Catherine Kolb obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have received certifications including being a Senior Reactor Operator from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, obtained in March 2013, and a Licensed Professional Engineer from the State of Illinois, obtained in 2010.
