The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is a federally recognized Native American Tribe practicing sovereignty and self-sufficiency. Our vision is to empower Tribal Members to thrive in the modern world while preserving their cultural foundations. The Tribe provides healthcare to many within the local community through the Shingle Springs Health and Wellness Center (Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy). We also offer outreach services through the Shingle Springs Tribal TANF Program in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer and Yolo Counties. The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is deeply committed to sustaining and improving the quality of life for both Tribal Members and the general community alike.
