Stephanie Fong has extensive experience in advocacy and case management, currently serving as Family Advocate III/Site Manager for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians since October 2012, overseeing site personnel and managing the Shingle Springs Tribal TANF Program. Previous roles include Family Advocate I, where Stephanie provided direct client services and maintained a caseload, and an internship at YWCA Sonoma County, assisting with childcare and client support. Additional experience includes case management for homeless families at Catholic Charities and customer service at Simon Property Group. Stephanie holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, along with multiple degrees and certificates related to social services, criminology, and behavioral sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University.

The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is a federally recognized Native American Tribe practicing sovereignty and self-sufficiency. Our vision is to empower Tribal Members to thrive in the modern world while preserving their cultural foundations. The Tribe provides healthcare to many within the local community through the Shingle Springs Health and Wellness Center (Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy). We also offer outreach services through the Shingle Springs Tribal TANF Program in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer and Yolo Counties. The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is deeply committed to sustaining and improving the quality of life for both Tribal Members and the general community alike.
