Diana Abellera

Diana Abellera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant management, finance, and operations within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Grant Management at Shining Star Consulting Inc since June 2022, Diana oversees budgeting and compliance for non-profit clients while managing and training a team of Grants Managers. Previous roles include Finance and Operations Manager at Hidden Leaf Foundation, where Diana managed finances and led investment committee meetings, and Owner and Principal at Abellera Consulting, providing development strategy and grant writing services. Diana's career also includes significant positions at Community Alliance with Family Farmers, Filipino-American Coalition for Environmental Solidarity, People's Grocery, Urban Habitat, and Redefining Progress, contributing to various initiatives in food systems, education, and environmental justice. Diana holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Boston College and participated in the Next Generation Leaders of Color program.
