Ajay Kapur

Ajay Kapur is a seasoned business development professional currently serving as the VP of Business Development at ShipConsole since October 2022. Previously, Ajay held positions such as Product Management Consultant at Commonwealth Care Alliance, where optimization of product management processes and collaboration with IT teams were key responsibilities. As Founder and CEO of PhiLance, Inc., a social enterprise startup, Ajay developed a hiring platform aimed at supporting individuals facing employment barriers. During tenure as VP of Product Development at Apps Associates, Ajay was instrumental in the company's growth and the creation of successful software products, including ShipConsole. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Nuance Communications, focusing on improving voice recognition algorithms. Ajay holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MS in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
