Mac Brown has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and development. Mac began their career in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon.com, where they worked on Inventory Planning and Control. Mac then went on to become a Software Development Manager for the Retail Customer Experience and a Senior Software Development Engineer for Fulfillment Center Software. In 2009, they joined Outcome Concept Systems as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Software Engineering at National Research Corporation. In 2011, they were hired as a Software Dev Manager at Marchex. In 2012, they joined zulily as the Vice President of Supply Chain and Fulfillment Software, managing software teams responsible for building zulily's software stack. Mac then went on to become the Chief Technical Officer at Shipium in 2019.
Mac Brown attended Princeton University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Operations Research and the Program in Applications of Computing.
