Louis Schatz

Louis Schatz is a Partner and Chair of the Tax and Employee Benefits Practice Group at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, where tenure began in 1996, contributing to the firm’s recognition as one of the leading tax practice groups in Connecticut. Prior to this role, Louis Schatz was a Partner at Schatz & Schatz, Ribicoff & Kotkin from 1987 to 1996 and worked as a Tax Associate at Finley Kumble Wagner in New York City from 1980 to 1987. Academic qualifications include an LLM in Taxation from New York University Law School, a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Cornell University.
