Loren Elia has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries and roles. Starting in 2008, they founded and served as CEO of Caida Libre, where they led the development of an e-commerce store and analyzed site traffic to improve conversion rates. Loren then worked as a Team Leader at Impulsa Aceleradora de Negocios SC, leading a team in delivering a web-based training program for small business owners.
In 2012, Loren joined T-Mobile as a Marketing Intern, leveraging market research to understand the consumer mobile phone plan shopping process and benchmarking store communication. Loren then transitioned to Gild as a Product Marketing Manager, managing events and developing user guides, collateral, and sales training materials.
Loren went on to work at Infogram as the Head of Marketing, overseeing the creation of data visualizations for marketers and publishers. Loren then joined Weebly as a Product Marketing Manager, leading up to the company's acquisition by Square.
From 2018 to 2022, Loren held roles at HoneyBook, first as a Senior Product Marketing Manager and then as the Director of Product Marketing. In 2022, they joined Xero as the Global Head of Product Marketing.
Loren's most recent role was at ProductLed, where they served as a ProductLed Community Champion, volunteering to guide and empower SaaS professionals in adopting a product-led growth mindset. Currently, they are a Senior Director of Marketing at Shippo.
Loren Elia holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, obtained from 2011 to 2013. They also earned a Licenciatura in Administración de Empresas from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, completed from 1998 to 2003. In addition, Loren obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot in December 2015.
