Derrick Purvis has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. In 2010, they started as a Staff Accountant at Author Solutions, LLC, where they worked until January 2011. Derrick then returned to the same company in 2012 and held positions such as Sr. Financial Planner & Analyst from 2012 to 2013 and Corporate Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis from 2014 to 2016. From September 2016 to April 2017, they served as the Chief Administrative Officer - Sales. In May 2017, they were promoted to Vice President - Sales, and later became the Vice President - Global Sales from May 2018 to September 2019. From October 2019 to October 2022, they held the role of Chief Revenue Officer. In November 2022, they joined PLD Consulting as a Principal and worked until May 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Growth Officer at ShipSigma, starting in May 2023.
Derrick Purvis attended New Albany Senior High School from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a degree in Finance at Indiana University Bloomington from 2005 to 2010.
