Maggie Barnes

Maggie Barnes is a seasoned professional in product design, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Design at Shipt since September 2018, with prior roles including Director of Product Design, Product Design Manager, and Senior Product Designer. Before Shipt, Maggie co-founded and served as CEO at tango labs from July 2016 to January 2021, and led experience design initiatives at Verizon from May 2016 to September 2017, notably in the Verizon Open Innovation Lab. Additional experience includes freelance consulting in experience design and roles at the Prevention Institute and New Sector Alliance. Maggie holds an M.B.A. from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, as well as participated in the Summer Institute in Architecture and Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley.
