Ricardo Vargas

Ricardo Vargas serves as the Chief People & Community Officer at Shipt since June 2025, overseeing Human Resources and Community Impact initiatives to align the people strategy with the company’s mission. Prior to joining Shipt, Ricardo amassed extensive experience at Target from June 2011 to July 2025, where roles included Sr. Director of Learning & Development, Sr. Director of Human Resources, Director of Compensation, and other HR positions, significantly impacting talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and cultural transformation across various teams. Ricardo holds an ICF Certified Professional Coach certification in Executive Coaching and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management, complemented by a Certificate in Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
