Varun Gupta is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data analytics. Currently serving as a Data Science & MLE Manager for Marketplace Intelligence at Veho since November 2022, Varun previously held roles including Senior Data Scientist at Current, Principal Data Scientist at Capitol, and Data Science Principal Associate at Capital One. Varun’s background includes impactful contributions to machine learning models, particularly in transaction matching through natural language processing techniques. With an educational foundation in Statistics and Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University, Varun also gained early experience through multiple internships in data science and electrical engineering at Capital One and Nistica.
