Dave Mathias

Dave Mathias has over 15 years of work experience in product management, analytics, and marketing. Dave began their career in 2007 as a Product and Marketing Manager at Aon Benfield. In 2010, they moved to Explore Information Services, where they served as Lead New Product Development Manager. In 2012, Dave joined U.S. Bank as Manager, Product Management and Analytics Team for IAM. Dave then moved to TigerRisk Partners in 2015, where they served as Customer Analytics and Product Manager. Dave has been with Beyond the Data since 2017, where they are currently a Product & Analytics Coach and Consultant. Dave is set to join Shipwell in 2022 as Senior Product Manager.

Dave Mathias has a diverse educational background, having obtained a BS in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, an MS in Information Assurance from Iowa State University, a Doctor of Law - JD from Drake University Law School, a Certificate in Digital Product Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a Certificate in Advanced Business Analytics from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Northwestern University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Specialization in Organizational Change and Culture for Adopting Google Cloud from Google in 2021, a Non-Personalized and Content-Based Recommender Systems Certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016, a People Analytics Certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Certificate from The Institutes CPCU Society in 2009, and an AI For Everyone Certificate from Coursera.
