Vinh Ngo has worked in the tech industry since 2005. In 2005, they worked as a Verifications Specialist II for Integrated Screening Partners. In 2006, they worked as a Support and Production Representative for HomeAway.com. In 2010, they worked as a Merchandising Coordinator for RetailMeNot, Inc. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer (Contractor) and Software QA Engineer for Leaf Group. In 2019, they worked as a Frontend Engineer, Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, QA Engineer, and Production Assistant for Shipwell and Hopscotch, respectively. During their time at Leaf Group, they worked to build a new "Studio" using Django and PostgreSQL with ReactJS for the frontend, and took on more product management. At RetailMeNot, they were exposed to the world of affiliate marketing. At HomeAway, they provided customer support over the phone and web-based support.

Vinh Ngo earned a BS in Physics, Computational Option from The University of Texas at Austin between 2007 and 2011. Vinh also holds a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
