Cynthia Derschow

Cynthia Derschow has extensive experience in library and information management, currently serving as the Manager of Libraries at the Shire of Ashburton since May 2005. In this role, Cynthia oversees the libraries in Onslow, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, and Pannawonica, as well as managing the collection and documentation of the Shire's local history. Previous positions within the Shire include Manager of Libraries and Information Services, where responsibilities extended to records management, cemetery management, FOI management, and customer service. Earlier in their career, Cynthia worked at the Department of Housing for ten years in various roles, including Business Support Officer and Area Manager, where responsibilities encompassed telephony, maintenance, and accommodation management.
