Peter Smith is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in digital transformation and project management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Digital Transformation Manager at the Shire of East Pilbara since August 2023, Peter is responsible for delivering new digital systems. Previously, Peter managed projects at the Shire of Dardanup and the City of Kwinana, where a focus was placed on implementing ERP systems. Earlier roles include Manager of Information Services at the Shire of Broome and ICT Manager at both Gladstone Area Water Board and Dampier Port Authority, where Peter drove innovative ICT strategies to enhance organizational efficiency. Peter holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of New England and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Edith Cowan University.
