Principal Of Shireland CBSO Academy at Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust

David Green has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David currently holds the position of Principal Designate at Shireland CBSO Academy, which will be the first state school in Britain established in collaboration with an orchestra. Prior to this, they worked as the Deputy Secondary School Improvement Director, where they contributed to the development of secondary academies within the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust.

Before joining Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, David had an extensive tenure at Shireland Collegiate Academy. David started as a Teacher of Mathematics and gradually moved up the ranks, holding various positions such as Numeracy Coordinator, Acting Second in Mathematics, Head of Mathematics, and Assistant Principal. As an Assistant Principal, they were involved in timetabling, curriculum development, data analysis, and project management, among other responsibilities. David also led training sessions for trainee mathematics teachers and was a member of the Central Maths Hub's steering committee.

In addition to their educational career, David Green had a brief stint at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an Associate.

David Green obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Economics (MORSE) from the University of Warwick from 2002 to 2005. David later pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Mathematics at the University of Wolverhampton from 2006 to 2007.
