Ryan Berndt is an experienced design engineer who currently serves as the Head American Design Engineer for Steel Door Sash and Sash Molding Projects at Shiroki North America, a position held since April 2011. In this role, Ryan collaborates with key automotive customers, including Nissan, Subaru, Honda, GM, and Chrysler, to design and optimize steel door frames for structural integrity and feasibility. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Gast Mfg as the Lead Engineer in the design of a portable ventilator cart tailored for hospital use, and at Kellogg Company as a Maintenance and Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities included assisting with production line maintenance and implementing safety procedures. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Design from Western Michigan University between 2006 and 2011.
