Soniya Mawani

Soniya Mawani has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. Soniya started their career in 1996 as a Primary School Teacher at Aga Khan Education Service in India, where they attended various professional development workshops and conducted research on innovative classroom practices. Soniya then moved on to become an Academic Coordinator at the same organization from 2001 to 2004. Mawani went on to work as a Primary School Teacher at Mahatma Gandhi International School (IB) from 2004 to 2005, where they focused on curriculum planning and implementing classroom activities.

In 2009, Mawani joined Children's Nook Group of Pre-schools, JBCN as the Head of Pre-school. Soniya'sresponsibilities included curriculum planning, teacher recruitment, marketing, and parent-teacher conferences. Soniya then became the Head of School at Children's World Academy from 2012 to 2016, overseeing the overall operations of the school.

Mawani also worked as a PYP Coordinator at Indus International School, Hyderabad from 2016 to 2017, where they managed the Primary Years Program. From 2012 to the present, they have been a Lead Assessor at Adhyayan Quality Education Services, focusing on assessing educational standards.

Most recently, Mawani has been involved with Shiv Nadar School, starting as the Head of Primary School from 2017 to 2022. Soniya then took on the role of Head, Junior School from 2022 to 2023, leading the implementation of the Primary Years Program. Currently, they serve as the Lead Assessor for Standards and Quality Assurance at Shiv Nadar School.

Soniya Mawani completed their education as follows:

- Soniya obtained a Masters in Advanced Teaching M.Ed in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of the People from 2019 to 2022.

- From 2011 to 2015, they earned an M.A. in Education with a focus on Education Management from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University.

- Soniya also completed a B.Ed in Education from K.C. Bajaj College of Education between 2013 and 2015.
